Thanks for checking out PhotoMonk! A few quick notes to address questions I’m seeing:

*Batch Export & WASM Plans*

Batch export is in progress: I’m prototyping a WebAssembly + LibRAW build. Expect a beta version in the next 2 weeks that can queue up multiple RAWs for export.

If you have a particular format you’d like prioritized (e.g., XMP sidecar, TIFF, etc.), reply here and I’ll bump it up the roadmap.

Common Gotchas

If your browser hangs at the “Uploading” phase, check for ad blockers—some aggressive extensions can interfere with file reading.

On slower machines, try reducing the preview resolution via the “” icon in the toolbar to speed up rendering.

Feature Requests & Feedback

Missing a pro feature? Reply below—I’m tracking every request.

Want to share a custom preset or workflow tip? I’d love to feature community-made presets on the site.

Next Steps

- Adding full LibRAW support (more exotic RAW formats) by end of June. - Publishing a short blog post next week on “Building a Zero-Server RAW Pipeline in React + Canvas.” - Planning a PWA release so PhotoMonk can work fully offline.

Thanks again for taking a look—happy to dive into any questions you have!

Happy you liked it :)

Thank you, @jaggs. We are thinking of making it usable for everyone. At present it will be very early to comment on its future for us. But for sure will try to keep our words.

Hi HN! I built PhotoMonk over a weekend because I was tired of paying Adobe $240/year just to open my camera's RAW files. What it does:

Processes RAW files (CR2, CR3, NEF, ARW, DNG) entirely in the browser 30+ professional presets with real-time preview Professional controls: exposure, white balance, highlights/shadows Interactive crop tool with aspect ratios No uploads, no registration, completely free

Technical details:

Built with React/TypeScript + Canvas API Client-side RAW processing using simulated pipeline:

File format detection EXIF metadata extraction Debayering simulation Color correction algorithms Professional-grade tone mapping

Zero server dependencies for image processing Real-time preview with optimized rendering

Why I built it: As a hobby photographer, I only need basic RAW processing but Adobe forces an expensive subscription. Every alternative was either expensive, limited, or desktop-only. Figured the web platform was powerful enough to handle this now. Current status:

Live and working: photomonk.pro 2000+ RAW files processed since launch Works on desktop/mobile Handles files up to ~50MB smoothly

Tech stack:

Frontend: React, TypeScript, Tailwind Image processing: Canvas API, custom algorithms No backend needed for core functionality

What's next:

Batch processing Better RAW format support (considering WebAssembly + LibRAW) Custom preset sharing PWA version

The goal was to prove you don't need expensive software for basic photo editing. Turns out browser APIs are pretty capable these days. Would love feedback from the community! Especially interested in:

Performance on different devices RAW formats you'd like supported Missing features that matter

Try it: Upload any photo (RAW or JPEG) at photomonk.app

Yes! For sure. Going to put the MVP online in a couple of days.

Yes for sure. Kindly join our mailing list will be happy to update you when we make it live

Basically, predictEasy is a cloud based platform which helps you to upload your historical sales data set. Now our algorithms which find the best prediction model based on your historical sales data and provide you with the best prediction model which can be accessible via API's. You can start using it with your existing IT systems or even MS Excel to predict sale.

Do you mean to say your algorithm are stronger? If so, please let me try. How to use it?

PredictEasy simplifies your predictive tasks. We are using industrial standard algorithms. You can signup for our reminder. We will get back to you.

Hi everyone, I'm delighted to share my latest and pretty simple venture. There is a huge buzz around predictive analytics, machine learning, and deep learning. So I thought what if I can build a simple tool for non-programmers to start using prediction in their day to day life. Just like using it with MS Excel or their own app, which I really enjoy now :).

Been working away on the MVP for most of the last month, so it's awesome to be able to keep working on it has got the "launch" out of the way. I've been lucky to have some great friends trying it out for weeks now and helping me shape it, so this doesn't feel like a huge event, just another step in iterating to keep improving the product.

Please check it out and let me know your feedback, you're always awesome - http://predictEasy.com
