How many Prolog programmers does it take to change a lightbulb?

No.

Would you consider extending the trial to 7-days so I don't have to urgently make it the whole focus of my day?

Yes! By Tuesday this will be the case!

Local LLMs I've found to not be good enough for OCR (while being a lot more resource hungry), and OpenAI models I want to avoid for privacy reasons. Default tesseract does the job for me, since my only requirements for the results it "I can easily find what I need with full-text search" - I rarely need to actually copy the text from the resulting PDFs

https://rain.today/ is nice. Dynamic rather than a recording

Compact?

/compress or something like that, basically taking the context and summarizing it.

Cursor does this automatically, although I wish there was a command for it as well. All AIs start shitting the bed once their context goes above 80% or so.

Claude Code was the first coding tool that was honest about performance degrading as the context windows fills, and gave use the /context command.

Do any other tools have anything like a /context command? They really should.

Can you explain your motivation around gpg-agent and yubikey little more, please? So the private key can't be copied elsewhere?

Yes, that's the motivation.

These days I would explore the TPM option, but I'm worried that has less legal teeth than a physical key if I'm in a law enforcement situation.

There's also practicality; I really, really don't want to tell my boss that TSA or whoever had access to the company git repositories and databases for X minutes or hours, and that's sidestepped by checking a bag with the Yubikey (wastes their time) or mailing it to the destination (needs a warrant).

can it automatically re-flow flowchart layouts?

I'm actually not sure, It's no really a flowchart editor, more of a vector drawing program, though it has some features like being able to pin the end of a line to an object so it follows while you drag

Is there a visual interface for Mermaid?

I can blast out auto-reflowing flowcharts in Flying Logic on a keyboard but it's moved to a subscription model that doesn't make sense for my irregular use.

Seeing the connections in real time really helps with my thought process.

Using the extension, you can see your changes from the Mermaid Code rendered as a diagram in real-time.

If you also want to interact with the diagram itself to make the changes, you can do that using the Mermaid Chart Playground: https://www.mermaidchart.com/play

Could this help categorize and prune backups?

contrast for the blood? Would have stuck in the memory
