Local LLMs I've found to not be good enough for OCR (while being a lot more resource hungry), and OpenAI models I want to avoid for privacy reasons. Default tesseract does the job for me, since my only requirements for the results it "I can easily find what I need with full-text search" - I rarely need to actually copy the text from the resulting PDFs
Cursor does this automatically, although I wish there was a command for it as well. All AIs start shitting the bed once their context goes above 80% or so.
These days I would explore the TPM option, but I'm worried that has less legal teeth than a physical key if I'm in a law enforcement situation.
There's also practicality; I really, really don't want to tell my boss that TSA or whoever had access to the company git repositories and databases for X minutes or hours, and that's sidestepped by checking a bag with the Yubikey (wastes their time) or mailing it to the destination (needs a warrant).
I'm actually not sure, It's no really a flowchart editor, more of a vector drawing program, though it has some features like being able to pin the end of a line to an object so it follows while you drag
I can blast out auto-reflowing flowcharts in Flying Logic on a keyboard but it's moved to a subscription model that doesn't make sense for my irregular use.
Seeing the connections in real time really helps with my thought process.
Using the extension, you can see your changes from the Mermaid Code rendered as a diagram in real-time.
If you also want to interact with the diagram itself to make the changes, you can do that using the Mermaid Chart Playground: https://www.mermaidchart.com/play
