How does public Claude know you have "full authorization" against your own infra? That you're using the tools on your own infra? Unless they produce a front-end that does package signing and detects you own the code you're evaluating.

You can do pretty much anything you want with public claude if you self-report to it that you have been properly authorized.

Jumping in late here. I think both can be true, that it's an inspirational moment and the idea of humans exploring and visiting other worlds is amazing. That a society's ability to do so implies its scientific prowess. And that we are in competition with other top nations to "have a seat at the table" if/when those nations start trying to put controls on the use of those celestial bodies.

There are significant, real differences in betting on a random number generator once a week and betting constantly on the real outcomes of individual behaviors. Most notably with sports, institutionalized prop bets destroy the integrity of the game.

At least with win/loss, the ability to outright manipulate the outcome for financial gain by players, coaches and refs is a lot harder to accomplish without detection. Prop bets? Who knows if a player or ref or coach made a decision on who gets the first 3pt basket of the second half?

We now are saying we'll negotiate for the exact same restrictions the JCPOA had, which we could have done without the war in the first place.

We totally don't need the strait opened up, we're super independent, but also really want them to open the strait.

Other countries should open the strait, not the US or Israel that started the war without the buy-in of other countries.

And finally, this is an illegal war for the US. Let's not play word games with the War Powers Act - this is a full-scale war, against a "worthy adversary" that 100% will not end in 60 days and one in which we don't control the terms of its end. Iran posed no imminent threat to the United States. Other than the most crazed warmongers like Lindsey Graham, it seems to me that the members of Congress who have been briefed in classified settings are in bipartisan agreement that this was a Bad Idea and that further involvement is a Worse Idea.

This is a colossal strategic screw-up, to use the most polite understated terms possible.
