Interesting view on empathy, but he doesn't really take into account how much of our identity/empathy springs from there being an 'other', someone to oppose or be different from. Having a global empathy seems possible but I would argue that different 'regional empathies' will always win out when we really have to make a tough choice.


Very interesting video. The RSA really puts out some good videos. Their other one on drive and motivation is also excellent.


I'm a big fan of Rifkin. His book "The end of work" really made me think about what the future of employing people will look like.
