Hi HN,

I am the author of the open source spreadsheet Luckysheet. Luckysheet's github repository has won 6K+ star in 5 months. Thank you for your love.

This time we opened the java backend to support collaborative editing.

Demo - http://luckysheet.lashuju.com/demo/

1. After the user operates, the data is distributed quickly

2. Simple configuration, one-click Docker deployment

3. Support secondary development

4. Apache-2.0 License

Welcome to communicate if you have any questions :)

Great work!

How does the Java / Postgres application scale? How many concurrent users can it support?

It can be regarded as an ordinary docker application, and k8s is recommended. Postgres can split table by listid, but the database is not recommended to be installed with docker

Concurrency has not been tested yet

Keep up the excellent work. Very cool! Congratulations!

Very cool. congrats

Thank you for your attention. Luckysheet online DEMO is only for testing. Please be sure not to upload any uncomfortable content. Thanks again everyone

Ah,I saw a picture of Pornhub and it was uploaded to the spreadsheet!

What conflict resolving algorithm do you use? OT or CRDT? I didn't see it mentioned anywhere

In documentation it mentions it's using OT.

Congratulations on some incredible work, Alex. Are you considering going into the hosting business? Seems like a logical progression.

This is so very cool, why is it named lucky tho ? Just wondering.

It feels good, easy to say, good meaning

@alexliu518 do you have an example for a Vue.js + Node.js backend with simple saving and updating? Is this possible or do I need to run the Java backend + services?

There is no Node.js backend for the time being, we are considering plans for more backends in other languages

We have collected the backends of java, .NET and Golang versions provided by the community. Welcome to the community to provide another Node.js version.

Please check:https://mengshukeji.github.io/LuckysheetDocs/guide/resource....

Really impressive. Especially considering how small the developer team is.

[flagged]

I guess that would explain why there was a large pooh image on the spreadsheet. The meme just flew over my head.

This seems like a bold claim.

Could you provide some evidence? If it's not hosted in China is there a risk? Keen to learn more.

Also what evidence google can give you about removal of chinese apps containing virus? Because you feel china is a friendly nation it doesn't mean they r saints.

Well well probably you don't see your firewall logs.

its seem US propaganda working at it bests.user account created an hour ago just to trolling.

Heh. Its like I am neither from USA nor China. For me, both are equally adversarial so one party saying "look. China bad" does not say well about their state of mind and arguments.

This software has an MIT license. There are no "secrets" for Chinese or someone else to "steal". This is a wide open software with the least prohibitive license. This FUD is what makes us non Americans and non Chinese think "this is nonsens" when ideas like huawei backdoors is used across the world. Absolutely no evidence and yet "don't use china sponsored company but USA sponsored company is fine"

Interestingly, CIA was recently outed to have hands in Swiss crypto software for like 50 years. For 50 years they sold software and hardware to States for secrets and they had access. No one is calling them out or making them pay but because China is not playing by their rules, the propaganda must work. Ciao

Probably you also don't look at your firewall and web server logs. I wish you loose your IP some day to Chinese hackers. Cheers!!!

oh. for someone working on exclusively GPL software, let them. so in your opinion when china steals "IP" from someone that makes them bad but when an american company causes the horrendous bhopal gas leak in india, they are not held accountable, because they are americans. yeah and don't forget americans can cause stuxnet on iran "well, because we can" but any "attempt" by someone else is seen as a war cry, a march for battle because the enemies have crossed a line they should not have. yeah yeah dream on

Looks like somebody moving from pok to Shanghai.

Yes! Less politics, more FREE software.

Yea yea free software with lot of free malware.

Despite the source being open and hosted in an American owned company, you still made it a point to wear your Tinfoil hat on?

Why the down vote? Are you telling me that somehow we're supposed to trust US agencies to not go thru our secrets? And china bad?

Reliable goon vs unreliable goon is the difference between US and China.

What makes China un-reliable? Its not like it tries to invade countries in the name of freedom.

South China sea, Taiwan, india. They are in border dispute with all neighbours other the Pakistan. Go figure...

Use their software and be ready to get screwed.
