That's indeed nice...but it only works for 4K or higher resolution screens (on lower res, scaling isn't offered).

For example with the Windows solution, I have a laptop with a 1920x1080 screen which I set to 125% and then a 3440x1440 monitor which I set to 150%.

When I connect my MacBook to that monitor, I have to resort to hacks like the one linked here, or live with tiny text and heaps of wasted space.
