Legal research for more than just answering a question like "does interspousal testimonial immunity apply in states which have not approved gay marriage when an out of state witness is called pursuant to a national federal criminal subpoena?" For that kind of a question you want to know if there is any recent law at all. So if this database is not kept up, it will be pretty much useless to answer this kind of question, except to the extent you want to get into the reasons for interspousal immunity in the first place.
